I (Willie) have been working on polyhedrons a lot this week (like the stellated icosahedron you see below). And I (Teddy) have... well, have NOT so much been working on polyhedrons. I've got better things to do -- like read books!

Rain is back (and forth -- and back -- and forth again) but we've had three dinner nights in the Sukkah so far, two with guests. We'll see how much more we can, um, squeeze out of it...

Question: If curried chicken is good, and curried potatoes are good, then shouldn't curried schnitzel be good? And when are we going to find out?!?

We got our MSP scores and they were remarkably similar. So, that begs the question, WHO SPOOFED WHO?

Mmmm, quick smores. This one has the traditional customary marshmallow, but it's been microwaved to within an inch of its life, then smothered in frosting.
Here's the top view of the sukkah from my (Willie) bedroom window. It's kind of camoflaged from above.
But you can see it plain as day from ground level. People mostly didn't invite themselves in for schnapps, but Cousin Jeanie came over for first night of sukkot and Big Willie and Trilby and Robin and Dorian came Saturday night. The weather was cooperative when we had people over, and on shabbat, but otherwise it's been crappy and only papa has been eating out there.
Night time is when it really shines. We got some super gaudy pink lights from a neighbor to go with the white, blue, multi color, chili peppers, pears, and light-up bbq's and t-bones. As you can see, the sukkah is super sparkly.
I'm pretty sparkly too.
We built this new medium sized bionicle but we think perhaps he has to go to bionicle jail after eating a whole bunch of puffs. The problem with bionicles is that they basically just have exoskeletons and everything in their digestive system is visible to the world. Yuck. That is like seeing our breakfast waffles hanging around our belly buttons all day. Bad bionicle--no donut.
I called the naughty bionicle pictured above 'medium-sized' because this other one we're working on is super gargantuan large sized. It's the monster truck of the bionicle world. I'm not sure what it is going to eat when it gets loose, but we're telling Snuff and Clubby and Nim to hide while there is still time.
Of course, it gargantuan bionicle eats any of them, we'll see them in it's midsection and still may be able to save them.
This is my first attempt at a stellated icosahedron. I'm thinking that I can make even more complicated models, but I'll probably need a license from NASA or something if they get any more facets to them.
